It is time now to turn the attention onto our caring and thoughtful leader,
Kevin, who is today, celebrating his 60th birthday. Kevin is not afraid of the
spotlight, but when it comes to praise and gift giving, he prefers to give
rather than receive.
Kevin is always celebrating staff birthdays and achievements. He spends
countless hours, training, mentoring, listening and guiding in order to
maintain the unique and special culture we are so lucky to have here.
With 6 decades of experience, Kevin is now able to enjoy life in a way thathe never predicted in his youth. The most significant change is the arrival of
his grandchildren, whom he absolutely adores. It doesn’t matter how busy he is,
he always has time for them and his face lights up with pride and joy,
whenever, he has the opportunity to speak of them.
Anyone who new Kevin as a child will tell you that he has always been
obsessed with water. However, he enjoys it in a much more soothing manner these
days, than when he was a child. He no longer gets pleasure from putting thehose through the neighbour’s window and turning on the tap, but from swimming
in the ocean.
Kevin regularly swims at our local beaches, and also loves swimming at different beaches around the country whenever he is away.
There are many aspects of South Australia that Kevin loves, the kangaroos,
the food, the people, the hills; however, no scenery is more pleasing to him
than the beach. Each day, Kevin will enjoy a cup of coffee or tea whilewatching the ocean and our beautiful, rugged coastline.
Kevin began his real estate career in his 20’s. Christies Beach was more
like a country town back then and he has had the privilege of watching it grow
into the bustling lifestyle community that it is today.
At 60, his relationship with his 7 children has changed. No longer, are they
the little ones pouncing on him with pure excitement every day that he returnedhome from work, but adults that he has not only gotten to know, but helped
mould into established adults, whom he is able to discuss life’s peaks andvalleys with.
Congratulations on reaching this milestone Kevin. I am sure you will make
this year, just as special as the previous years.
