Today we are reminded to check in with each other, to not only see if they are okay but to let them know that you are there for them.
It can be difficult and feel awkward to ask sometimes but it is important to show people that there are people who care about them. The R U OK? website offers helpful suggestions on how to have those conversations.
I would also like to encourage anyone who is going through a difficult time to speak up. If we don’t know that you’re struggling then we might not be able to help. Plus, the more you speak about your problems, the easier they are to deal with.
