We thought it was important to let everyone know that today, the 12th of May 2020, is International Nurses Day!
Nurses work tirelessly and often go unappreciated. When my husband was in hospital, I was so grateful for the nurses who spent so much time, often skipping their own lunch breaks to help him. My husband and I are now grateful for the nurses who look after his mother in a nursing home. They go to endless efforts to care for patients and sometimes just to make individuals laugh.
