Our Property Management Team are desperately needing more rental properties to offer, we have so many fantastic tenants who are needing to secure another home, often due to their landlord needing to sell their asset to counteract the rising cost of living and high interest rate pressures.

We have an array of fantastic tenants searching for a home, from single people to young couples, families and the elderly. We would LOVE to provide accommodation for all of them, but unfortunately, we do not have enough available and suitable rental stock to be able to help them all.

Due to the current rental market conditions, and demand greatly outweighing supply, great tenants are struggling to find a suitable home for their families, with most of our rental properties being leased before they ever hit the market as we have so many tenants lined up who are seeking our help, but we just don’t have the vacancy rate to meet the supply needed.

This unfortunately puts more pressure on the rental system and consequently exposes more and more people to the very real risk of homelessness in Australia. Homelessness does not singularly represent those who are without a roof over their head at night and are subject to sleeping on the streets, Homelessness Australia uses the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) statistical definition of homelessness as “When a person does not have suitable accommodation alternatives they are considered homeless if their current living arrangement:
is in a dwelling that is inadequate; or has no tenure, or if their initial tenure is short and not extendable; or does not allow them to have control of, and access to space for social relations” The ABS definition of homelessness is informed by an understanding of homelessness as ‘home’lessness, not ‘roof’lessness.

So, we are asking YOU, the community for help during this trying time, if you or anyone you know may be looking to lease out a property, we urge and encourage you to please contact us as we have some amazing tenants lined up and ready to go that we want to help secure a home so they have a house to celebrate Christmas day in with their families.
