Don’t come in if you’re sick

Dear our wonderful clients,

This is something we were planning to post before we had even heard about Corona Virus.

Almost everyday, we have a customer come into our office who is sick. Now, I have heard a lot of comments regarding the flu and Corona Virus, such as “The only people who are at risk of death are people who have a low immune system”. We are not experts and can not comment on the accuracy of such a statement, but what we do know is that, we, unfortunately, have one member of staff with a low immune system and another member of staff who lives with someone who has a low immune system, not to mention 4 people who are over 70 and one person with asthma.

Before the first reports on the media about Corona Virus, we have made it a priority to take extra care when it comes to hygiene. Our policy for staff is to not come to work if you show any cold or flu symptoms.

Now, we don’t hold cash on the premises but we do have some people who come in to pay their rent. One staff member commented that since they started receipting rent, they found that they were constantly getting sick. Most of our staff now, sanitise their hands every time they touch money or keys, which seems to have slowed the spread of cold and flu within our office.

However, this is not a guarantee, so we ask our customers to help us out in this area and please stay away if you are sick.

Whether you are making a payment or returning a form, we have several methods in place to accommodate without the need of face to face contact. Please contact us on 08 8382 3773 if you wish to discuss these other options.
