Today we will be sorting through hundreds of entries for our annual Christmas card competition. This is a difficult task every year and this year is no exception. We have some amazing entries from both St John’s and Emmaus Primary Schools and we can see already that we are going to have a spectacular card once our winners are selected.
According to our judges it is one of the hardest jobs to pick only three when there are so many that stand out for various reasons. Some of the cards bring you back to your own childhood and you can see what the artist was thinking. You end up putting yourself in the child’s shoes and you can easily get drawn into tiny details on several pictures and feel torn on which one is more suitable.
We will be announcing the winner from Emmaus this Friday, 30th November at their assembly. The students at St John’s will have to wait just a little longer as we will be announcing their schools winner on Monday, 10th December.
Thank you and good luck to all the students who made such a tremendous effort this year!
