The amount of spam and scams these days can be very frustrating. Like most of you, we have got good anti-virus as well as spam filters. However, even that is not enough. It has come to the point where we need to be so careful checking our e-mails and have become used to not trusting anything.
Therefore, when an e-mail comes through with little or no description, often with a link or an attachment from an e-mail address we don’t recognise, we will most likely think it is spam. We can never be too careful when it comes to protecting ourselves from cyber crime.
To ensure your legitimate e-mails don’t get marked as spam, I would suggest that you make the subject and body of the e-mail clear and descriptive. If you are including a link or an attachment then please explain what it is. Which property is it connected to or what is it regarding?
Scammers are getting very clever, they are impersonating a lot of trusted contacts these days, sometimes businesses or some clients we know.
To our trusted clients and friends, please note that we will not open any e-mails that appear suspicious in any way so please take a moment to check that your e-mail has a subject and property reference.
Thank you!
