It was lovely to see so many people this morning at the ANZAC Day dawn service. We have taken a few pictures to share with those who were unable to attend this morning.
ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. ANZAC Day is a national day to remember those ANZACs who have fought in any war. The 25th of April marks the day that Australian and New Zealand forces landed in Gallipoli. ANZAC Day originally came about to remember those who died in WW1 but as the years have gone by and more wars have been fought, the day now commemorates ANZACs who have fought in any war.
