On Monday members of the Professionals real estate group in South Australia attended their annual pink ribbon breakfast. This year the breakfast was held at The Playford Hotel in Adelaide. We were delighted to have breast cancer survivor, Tania Cercone, come back and speak at our breakfast. We were honored to have Tania tell her story a number of years ago her personal journey from diagnosis to recovery. It was wonderful to have Tania back to give us an update on how she is going but to also share with us that as a breast cancer survivor, the fight is never over. There is always the fear that it may come back and how important it is for everyone to get checked.
The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is aiming to have zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030. As a Diamond Partner of the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), Professionals websites have turned Pink for the month of October to help raise awareness and much-needed funds for breast cancer research.
The breakfast included entertainment by comedian Ben Price from Australia’s Got Talent, Professionals quarterly awards and a pink ribbon charity auction. This year the cupcakes were made by Sarah and Lauren of the Christies Beach office. The large cupcake order was part of the RSCPA Cupcake Day fundraiser the girls participated in back in August.
Professionals offices donate a portion of their commission from each property sale to the NBCF. By listing and selling your home with Professionals you will be helping NBCF achieve their goal of zero deaths by 2030. You can also purchase your pink ribbon items or make a donation at any Professionals office.
