I stumbled across this article that I thought I would share with our readers. It is a topic that is constantly coming up in conversation regarding the difficulties in buying your first home. The article states that “As many as four in five Australian home owners believe it is now too hard for first home buyers to own property, new research has revealed.”
We have heard many first home buyers claim that they are not able to purchase a property on their own and that they would need to go in with someone else. Whilst many have a partner or sibling that they can invest with, for many people finding someone whom they can purchase with can be tricky.
The article also states that “The study, commissioned by LocalAgentFinder and Pureprofile, surveyed 1,000 Australian adults. It showed that almost half of homeowners believe the only way first-time buyers can get a foot on the property ladder is to move to a regional area or purchase far away from the CBD.”
