The City of Onkaparinga is proud to present the eighth biennial South Australian Readers and Writers Festival. The festival is a celebration of writing as a valuable form of cultural expression and the importance of reading for pleasure and for information.
This year’s program will be rolled out between July 2015 and June 2016. We see the return of popular events such as the One-on-one with a Publisher session, the presentation of the People’s Choice Award, the re-purposed book exhibition at the Arts Centre, along with workshops for writers, author talks and activities across Onkaparinga Libraries along with the unveiling two new artworks depicting classic Australian book characters at the Storybook Walk in Thalassa Park.
There will be something for everyone!
