A major Australian network has this week launched an ‘intuitive’ mobile site in an attempt to push their web presence.
Professionals Real Estate Group rolled out their new look site to their 200 offices over September. The site is compatible across all devices including mobile devices, desktop and laptop computers.
According to Ian Cornell, group chairman of Professionals Global Limited, the website is designed to create an easy experience for the consumer.
“Our website, unlike a lot of other real estate sites, is all about the consumer,” he told Real Estate Business at the Professionals website launch lunch in Sydney yesterday.
“We wanted to focus on the buyer, not the agent.”
Kevin Barry, managing director at Professionals Christie Beach, said since their new office website was launched at the beginning of September they have received a great response from clients.
“The feedback from our clients is that they love it and it is easy to use,” he said.
“My favourite thing about it is that it is all intuitive, the science behind it baffles me, but it is amazing to see how you can easily change between your iPad or desktop and the screen adapts.”
According to Mr Barry, his office sees a huge spike in mobile activity on the weekend.
“The spike in activity we see shows that mum and dad’s are using our mobile site when they are out and about on the weekend,” he said.
“It is doing its job.”
To honour the Professionals long-term partnership with the National Breast Cancer Foundation during October all franchise websites will be pink, including the national website.
To date, the Professionals has raised $2.1 million for the foundation.
