Lauren and Sarah from the Professionals Christies Beach, recently participated in the RSPCA Cupcake Day fundraiser. Those of you who purchased cupcakes will know how delicious they were. The girls did an incredible job, raising $1880.85. The RSPCA mainly rely on donations so that they can help animals like Crank, the dog.

“Before the nice lady from RSPCA picked me up, I was scared, cold and alone. I didn’t have a home or someone to love me. There was no one to protect me from being attacked. Now I’m scared that no one will help me because they think I’m not as cute as other dogs.” Will you help Crank?

The RSPCA posted this picture of Crank with the above message. He now has a loving home and even popped in to our office to say ‘Hello’ to Lauren and Sarah.

Lauren and Sarah recently attended the ‘RSPCA Cupcake Day VIP Party’ at Plant 4 Bowden where they were awarded with a certificate for their wonderful fundraising efforts. The event featured a cooking class with MasterChef’s, Samuel Whitehead, owner of Gut Feeling Fermentation as well as delicious food by My Other Hat and Francesco’s Cicchetti. Lauren and Sarah said had a wonderful time but their favourite part was being able to see Crank, the dog again!
