According to Vogue some of the home decor trends to look out for in 2017 won’t require a complete home make over.

Some of the top trends include tropical prints, the use of the colour green, texture, neutral tones, marble and brass, geometric patterns, quirky lighting, artisan-crafted furniture, as well as the use of grey and bronze.

Grey was popular in 2016 so for all you who have painted a feature wall or purchased a grey couch you’ll be pleased to know that they are still on trend.

Neutral tones are always a winner in our opinion. From an investment point of view keeping the kitchen, bathroom, walls and flooring neutral will generally match easily with most tenants furniture. Plus if you look back through old magazines it is the homes with neutral colours that have maintained their style, while those with the bold colours and styles are often only fashionable for a short period of time.
